This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and results-oriented professional with a proven track record of success in selling complex solutions and professional services.
You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating leads, understanding client needs, crafting compelling proposals, and closing deals that deliver significant value to our clients.Responsibilities include:Prospecting and lead generation: Identify and qualify new leads within the target market aligned with your assigned territory or vertical.Solution selling: Deeply understand Atlassian products and services, along with complementary solutions from our partners, to develop and present customized solutions that address clients' unique business challenges.
You will be comfortable closing seven-figure software resell deals and professional services deals greater than $150,000.Client relationship management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, understand their pain points and objectives, and foster long-term partnerships.Proposal development: Create compelling and competitive proposals that articulate the value proposition and demonstrate the ROI of your proposed solutions.Negotiation and deal closing: Confidently negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed your assigned sales targets.Market awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and the Atlassian product roadmap to inform your sales strategies.Collaboration: Work closely with your colleagues in technical, pre-sales, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client engagements and successful project implementations.Partnership: You will have experience working 'in the channel' closely aligned to a large, successful software vendor such as Atlassian.Qualifications: Skills and RequirementsAn insatiable curiosity for the way businesses work and the challenges facing our key buyer profiles (CFO, CIO, CTO, Head of Engineering).Comfortable writing and constantly updating territory and account plans.Comfortable partnering with key cross-functional partners such as our marketing team to develop and drive pipe building initiatives.Can develop strategic direction from market information and create compelling market analysis presentations.Ability to have an ongoing regular conversation with executive buyers.Requirements:Minimum of 7 years of experience in a solutions sales role, preferably within the IT consulting industry.Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.Strong understanding of the Atlassian suite of products and services (Jira, Confluence, Service Management, etc.
