Due to continued growth and business expansion, a new opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Finance Officer with strong business acumen to join our friendly finance team in South Australia.
This hands-on role within our finance division is where you will feel a part of a team and enjoy a broad variety of tasks, gaining an understanding of all aspects of the business.
What You Will Do In This RoleProcess supplier invoices against approved purchase orders.Prepare appropriate and timely payments to creditors as and when they fall due according to approved budget and authorisation.Reconcile subcontractors and supplier invoices.Job cost expenditure to projects.Build and maintain strong working relationships with external subcontractors and suppliers.Promote purchasing protocols with internal and external stakeholders.Assist in preparing administration and financial reports.General administration support to the finance team as required.About YouYou will be meticulous with your attention to detail, accurately capture data, and have a logical and analytical approach to your daily tasks.Sound knowledge of general accounting principles including accounts payable/receivable processes and procedures.Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.Solution orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.A self-motivated and adaptable individual, who has proven time management skills, and can prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.Friendly and approachable, yet professional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with suppliers and subcontractors.Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Accounting qualifications are desirable.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position.What Next?If you have a can-do attitude and enjoy being part of a team environment, apply by selecting "Apply For This Job" to forward your cover letter and resume.
