Accountant - Taxation and Business ServicesAbout the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Taxation and Business Services team at Geyer Accountants as a Senior Accountant.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services to a diverse portfolio of small-to-medium business clients.
As a Senior Accountant, you will work in a fast-paced, friendly, and collaborative environment and have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of the business.
What you'll be doing Preparing complex tax returns and business activity statements for a range of clients across multiple industries.Preparing Superfund tax returns.Providing tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimise their tax liabilities.Conducting tax research and staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations.Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.Advising clients on business operations, financial management, and strategic planning.Contributing to the development of the firm's tax and business services offerings.What we're looking for 5+ years of post-qualification experience in taxation and business services, preferably within a professional services firm.Experience preparing SMSF Financials and Taxation.Strong technical skills in tax preparation, tax planning, and tax research.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Exceptional communication and client-relationship skills.Professional manner and team-oriented.Registration as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) is highly desirable.What we offer
