Field Electrician

The expansion of Ampcontrol services in Western Australia supports the new company vision to lead the global energy revolution.
Ampcontrol is focused on diversifying and growing the business with a key focus on renewable energy manufacturing and supporting our customers in decarbonisation and mine site electrification.
We are looking for experienced and qualified Electricians to support our Field Service team on a range of long-term construction projects related to major power infrastructure across WA.
These positions are field-based roles based on both mine sites and in regional areas throughout WA.
You will be focused on providing a high quality of work and join a motivated and skilled team responsible for the onsite construction, testing, and commissioning of critical power systems.
The successful candidates will be required to:
Carry out testing and maintenance of electrical equipment as required.
Complete allocated field service work as per the Scope of Work or Work Instructions.
Participate in improvements in the workplace and be proactive in improving field service safety and efficiency.
Raise non-conformance reports where required to document significant problems.
Please note that regular travel to other Ampcontrol and customer sites/regions will be a requirement of these roles.
What are we looking for from you?
Your strong service-oriented mindset, coupled with excellent time management skills will be complemented by the following:
Electrical Trade Qualification.
Current WA Electrical Worker's Licence.
Current Driver's Licence.
Previous experience with Critical Power infrastructure.
Understanding of electrical schematic and wiring diagrams.
Service experience in the electrical trades/technical roles.
A commitment to providing exceptional client and customer service.
Prepared to travel regularly as required.
