The Opportunity:
Ashurst's national market leading Corporate Transactions and M&A team advises a wide range of public and private clients on complex and high-profile matters involving M&A, IPOs, joint venture agreements, capital raisings, shareholder agreements, and restructures across various sectors including energy, mining, and infrastructure.
The team is now looking for an ambitious, driven, and committed mid-level or senior practitioner to join this growing practice.
This opportunity represents an outstanding chance for a team player with strong technical skills and who is commercially astute to join this well-established and highly regarded team.
About you:
Minimum 5+ years' commercial experience gained within a top-tier firm; Strong experience in M&A transactions, joint venture agreements, capital raisings, and shareholder agreements; Excellent technical and drafting skills coupled with commercial nous; Experience in the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors desired but not essential; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to their development and growth; Proactive, committed, and ambitious.
