Who you are? We have a dynamic opportunity for a Stores Operator to join the Sample Preparation team within the Bureau Veritas Minerals Laboratory at Gauge Circuit, Canning Vale WA.
You will be excited by the challenges of our business and the variety this role offers ensuring both short term and long-term objectives are met.
This role will see you receive, handle and dispatch goods and products coming into, or going out of, stockrooms, stores, or warehouses.
Sorting and Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer.
Some of your tasks will be: Work to Bureau Veritas QHSE standards.Inventory tasksConduct movement of goods inwards and outwardsContribute and achieve daily production targets.Receiving and checking against orderPicking Goods and PackingSamples retrieval (pull out)Sorting, weighing, crushing.What will you bring to the role? Forklift ticketPhysically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks and able to lift up to 15 kilo sample bags.Reliable and motivated to do the right thing.Experience within warehousing is desirable.Have attention to detailsRoster: Monday to Friday – morning shift roster – 6.00am – 2.00pm***Possibility to work afternoon shift on occasion to meet operational requirements (2.00pm – 10.00pm)
Please note that as part of the recruitment experience you must be able to pass a comprehension, numerical and literacy test as well as a full Medical, Drug and Alcohol test.
