We have an opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Property Manager to join our team managing a mostly retail portfolio of Commercial assets for a key government agency.
Experience across retail assets and knowledge of the Retail Leases Act is essential.
Whilst this role is being offered as a 9 month fixed term contract, there is a strong likelihood that the role will become permanent.
Here's a snapshot of your day; Responsible and accountable for the overall performance of the property management operations for a Commercial Portfolio; duties include property management, lease renewals, rent reviews, preparation of leases and license documentation.Dynamic engagement with a single government client, tenants and operational personnel.All maintenance is managed directly by the client, you will be required to review lease obligations to assist with this process.Providing detailed information to support monthly reporting packs for the client.Monitor all financial transactions relating to management of the portfolio and ensure the proper authorisation of payments and collection of debts.Here are some of the strengths you'll possess and the background you'll need to be successful; Previous Commercial Property Management experience ideally within retail.A capacity to manage client expectations with an ability to manage multiple projects and work to strict deadlines.A proactive, approachable and professional demeanour with a high level of attention to detail.Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.Certificate of Registration and thorough knowledge of the property industry and local market.So, what's in it for you?
