Job Description
Your Responsibilities Performing proactive maintenance activities on mechanical equipment throughout the plant Overhauling, repairing and installing a wide range of mechanical equipment using precision maintenance techniques Performing predictive maintenance activities using a range of predictive technologies (e.g.
Vibration analysis, thermography etc.)
Performing reactive maintenance in response to breakdowns Participating in root cause analysis and equipment health discussions Using the CMMS system to raise and update work orders Participating in the creation of risk assessment and method statements for maintenance tasks Understanding of maintenance metrics and KPIs Supporting organisational initiatives (e.g.
Continuous improvement) Mentoring and coaching colleagues and apprentices where needed Providing engineering support to shift technicians and providing occasional shift cover Deputising for the Mechanical Supervisor when necessary Your Profile C&G, NVQ, ONC or HNC in Mechanical Maintenance/Engineering Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship Experience in an industrial maintenance environment Minimum Level 1 / CAT 1 in any of the predictive technologies is preferable Ability to communicate effectively both verbally, written and electronically through email Experience of using Microsoft computer packages CMMS knowledge is preferable Working at height and confined space working will be required (Training provided) Ability to problem solve Reliable and adaptable Ability to work in a team Your Future Perspective Challenging tasks, short decision-making processes, and a high level of personal responsibility in a modern work environment with flexible work time models Room for innovative thinking and growth with the possibility to manage your own career path.
