If you are passionate about making a genuine impact in your local community and helping clients enjoy their independence and quality of life, this role might just be the perfect fit for you.Key Responsibilities:Supporting clients with domestic tasks such as meal preparation & household choresProviding social support and transportation services as requiredProviding personal care, including showering, grooming and mobility assistanceEnsuring the clients' rights, culture, spiritual and other individual needs are incorporated in all aspects of care and daily livingMust have own car (registered in your name), valid comprehensive car insurance and a current QLD drivers Licence.McArthur is the right fit for you if you have:Qualifications: Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Ageing) or studying Diploma of Nursing (1st year completed Aged Care Placement) or Bachelor of Nursing (2nd year + 2nd Semester aged care placement)First Aid & CPR Certificate: current certifications or willing to obtainCommitment to person centred care: strong understanding of community care and a dedication to delivering high standards for clients.Experience in a home care setting or providing domestic support is desirableUnderstanding of client directed careExcellent attention to detail, verbal communication, and written documentationAbility to accept shifts at short noticeWilling to travel to a variety of locations around BrisbaneEssential for working in Aged Care:National Police CheckCurrent and ongoing Flu VaccinationsCovid 19 vaccinations (minimum 3 doses)Current working with children card (blue card)Current NDIS screening check (yellow Check)2 clinical refereesIf you believe this role sounds like you, please apply
