Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana.
As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care.
Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.

Currently we are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our team.
The successful applicant/s will be responsible for continuing and overseeing delivery of quality patient care within their area of specialty.
The CNS collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive person centred, evidenced based self-management diabetes education to patients and carers.
The CNS also works to improve and promote the development of standards of practice, implementation of changes to clinical practice, initiating research and quality improvement activities; and the provision of a consultation service within the area of expertise for all consumers within the hospital and health service.

In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
