HSE AdvisorOur client is a leading contractor that specializes in the demolition, decommissioning, and remediation of oil, gas, and industrial facilities throughout Australia. They are committed to delivering high-quality, environmentally responsible solutions while prioritizing the safety and well-being of their team and partners.They have a requirement for a proactive and dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join their site-based team on a large-scale project in Kwinana to contribute to their mission of safe and effective project execution.The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills with a safety-first mentality. This opportunity would suit a candidate possessing either a Certificate IV or above and at least 2 years' experience who is looking to join a growing business that is invested in the development of their staff.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and ensure compliance with company, industry, and legal HSE standards.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify risks and implement corrective measures.Provide HSE training and induction programs for site personnel and contractors.Assist in the development and implementation of HSE management systems and policies.Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring thorough reporting and follow-up actions.Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure safe work practices and risk management.Maintain up-to-date records of safety documentation, training, and incident reports.Actively participate in HSE meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Support emergency response planning and drills.Qualifications & Experience:Certificate IV or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.Minimum of 2 years of HSE advisory experience in the construction, industrial, or decommissioning sector.Comprehensive knowledge of relevant Australian HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams.Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide effective solutions in high-stress situations.Experience with environmental management practices (desirable).What We Offer:A supportive and safety-focused work environment.Opportunities for professional development and certification.Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.The chance to be part of a team committed to innovation and excellence in decommissioning/demolition projects.How to Apply:If you feel that you have the right skill set and are keen to register your interest in the position, please 'click' apply or send your resume to ******.
