The Opportunity Due to ongoing business growth, we are looking for an excavator operator who has experience excavating around live assets.
Given our vast range of services, there is plenty of variety with the roles and responsibilities which include (but are not limited to):
Operation of excavators ranging from 2.5 to 8 tonne Excavating around water, gas, or electrical assets General labouring including site preparation, onsite support, and associated civils Operating state-of-the-art Plant & Equipment in pipeline renewal We offer a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime.
Your background may be from one of the following:
Pipe maintenance experience such as reactive water main maintenance, plumbing, gas main, and water main renewals NBN or electrical industries where you have excavated around live assets Or you might want to break into the industry; if so, we'd still like to hear from you Key Selection Criteria: Valid Drivers Licence Experience excavating around live assets OHS Construction Induction Card (White card) Have the ability to work on sites across Greater Brisbane Good work ethic and positive work attitude with the ability to work in a team A strong focus on safety HR or MR licence, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights licences are desirable but not essential. To make sure that you're fully fit to join our team, you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical, which includes a drug & alcohol test.
