Indirect Tax - Senior Consultant to Senior Manager

Our client is looking for Senior Consultants to Senior Managers to join their rapidly expanding Indirect Tax team across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Specialising in Stamp Duty, you'll work closely with clients, delivering cutting-edge insights and crafting innovative strategies to solve tomorrow's challenges today.

Responsibilities
Provide technical indirect tax advice on transactions and projects.
Help clients manage risks, ensure compliance, and identify opportunities to enhance their tax position.
Conduct assurance and due diligence reviews.
Support data analytics and tax technology solutions.
Advise on key tax issues using innovative technologies.
Focus on continuous learning, deliver client value, and collaborate with broader tax teams.
For Managers and Above
Manage client indirect tax risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and identify opportunities to enhance tax positions.
Build strong client relationships through effective advisory and project delivery.
Support the development of junior team members' careers.
Requirements

Technical experience in stamp duty.
Experience in the field of indirect tax, preferably from a law firm or within a Big 4 or large mid-tier accounting firm.
Experience with client ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE) is beneficial but not essential.
Proficiency in tax digital technologies and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, RPA, and GST software is required.
