Positioned uniquely to bridge the gap between ASX 100 gold producers and the rest, Genesis offers unparalleled opportunities for growth and innovation in the prolific Leonora District of Western Australia.We are now seeking an experienced Senior Advisor Sustainability and Environment to support the continual improvement of Genesis sustainability and environmental performance.You will evaluate and advise on the Group's compliance to sustainability initiatives, environmental standards and systems, legislative and other obligations. In addition, you will assist in completing various reports, such as the annual Sustainability Report, emissions reporting, and disclosure.About the role:Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of public sustainability commitmentsCoordinate the development of Genesis' climate-related disclosures to meet requirements for ASRSAssist in data analysis and reporting of environment and sustainability performance across the Group.Coordinate greenhouse gas and water reporting across the Group including providing guidance and training to relevant personnel across the business.Support the development and delivery of sustainability initiatives across the group.Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in environmental and sustainability management across the Group.Provide support for annual Sustainability Reporting and other ESG reporting requirementsProvide support for annual emissions reportingMonitor and report Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions and energy use performance across the organisation to track progress towards reduction targetsSupport the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System across the businessAssist in the development, implementation of the company Environmental Assurance ProgramWhat you can expect from us:A caring and supportive culture.Professional and positive team environments on site, and at all facilities.A 'grow our own' approach with a preference to develop and promote internally.Access to professional development activities and educational assistance.Competitive salary, and options for salary sacrificing.We're excited to hear from you if you have:A tertiary qualification in Sustainability or Environmental Science (or a related discipline)Demonstrated experience in the sustainability and environmental fieldExtensive knowledge and applications of the Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental regulatory and sustainability framework.Experience in development of Sustainability-related reporting and alignment to frameworksExperience in development and implementation of Environmental Management SystemsAbility to work autonomously and as part of the leadership team.A high standard of written and verbal communication skillsDoes this sound like you?
