About the role Working on a 2:2 roster for a leading oil and gas client, the role of PIF/RA Supervisor will oversee a skilled crew of paint and blast, Insulators, and rope access technicians, ensuring that all operations meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Oversee and coordinate all painting, blasting, insulating and rope access activities on-site.Lead and manage a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.Monitor work quality and performance, conducting regular inspections to ensure adherence to industry best practices and client requirements.Enforce safety protocols and conduct risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering skills in painting, blasting, and rope access techniques.Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule work activities for efficient resource allocation.Maintain accurate records of work performed and report on progress, challenges, and resource needs.About you Strong background in painting and blasting within either onshore or offshore oil and gas sectors.IRATA accreditation (Levels 1 through 3 considered).Commitment to safety and quality standards.Previous supervisory experience, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to develop skills further.Passionate about delivering high-quality work and ensuring team safety.Why you should work for Altrad We provide the benefits you'd expect from a global company, but what makes us different?
