Tutors-Mathematics, Science and English (Reception to year 6) Gurukul Pathway Academy
Adelaide, South Australia
Casual position: up to 5 days a week (minimum of 2 days per week) (2 to 3 hours per week after 4:30 pm).
Working days and hours can be negotiated based on need; however, we are currently looking for individuals who are available at least on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Pay: $30-$50 per hour

We are currently seeking passionate teachers for Mathematics, Science and English (Reception to Year 6).
The ability to teach a range of subjects will be an added advantage.

About the Role Address individual student needs by delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Australian National Curriculum.Design and deliver effective tutoring sessions tailored to students' specific learning requirements.Focus on bridging gaps in knowledge and skills while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to prepare students for future success.Monitor student progress closely and provide timely, constructive, and personalized feedback to students and parents.Communicate professionally with parents, keeping them informed about their child's achievements and areas for improvement while building strong, supportive relationships.Move beyond just completing worksheets and homework by encouraging a deeper understanding of concepts and nurturing young minds to become innovative thinkers and future leaders.About You - Qualifications and Requirements Registration: Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
Tutoring experience will be highly regarded.Education: University student, graduate, or qualified teacher with demonstrated expertise in Mathematics and English (Reception to Year 6).
Copies of qualifications are required.Work Rights: Valid Australian working rights.Compliance: Hold or be willing to obtain a current SA Working with Children Check.Experience: Prior experience (desirable) in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring young students, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.Commitment: Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to student success.Passion & Skills: A genuine passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and engage students while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.How to Apply If this is an opportunity meeting your eligibility criteria, we encourage you to apply.
