About the Role: Our client is seeking a Solution Architect to join their team on a 6 month contract.
This role focuses on developing architectural solutions to support and optimise large projects.
Located in the CBD, the position offers flexible working arrangements—3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Role Purpose: Leverage your architectural expertise to create and execute strategic and tactical solutions that advance the organization's technological goals.
This position ensures alignment of technology solutions with business strategies, overseeing architecture states and road-maps.
You will own and coordinate delivery with various ICT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the architectural vision for our client, ensuring alignment with business and ICT strategies.Drive solution delivery through effective planning and collaboration with business application owners.Create and maintain architecture states and transition road-maps for the client.Contribute to initiatives from design through production, ensuring seamless execution.Partner with stakeholders to optimise outcomes by managing scheduling, integration, and prioritisation.Ensure quality assurance for both internal and vendor resources, focusing on excellence and design consistency.Oversee specialist consultancies for strategic input, audits, and compliance tasks.Identify and assess new technologies, contributing to the Architecture Governance Committee to shape future strategies. Skills & Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect or similar role.Previous experience in the Energy, Gas, Mining, Renewables, or Construction sectors is desirable.Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.Extensive expertise in application and technical solution architecture, especially for new renewable assets.Proven track record in developing and maintaining technology road-maps aligned with business strategies.Skilled in creating high-quality solution design documents and diagrams.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage diverse groups of stakeholders.Technology skills across Oracle HCM, TechnologyOne and Azure.Experience working within agile teams to develop technical artefacts effectively.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities for complex issues.If you are an experienced architect with a passion for creating innovative solutions, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity Contact
