Northern Beaches Hospital is looking to employ a Cook to join our friendly and supportive team. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude, and an interest to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction. This role is suitable for students with flexibility to work early mornings/evening shifts.

NBH is a patient-centred hospital able to provide a full range of health services, including Acute Medicine, Acute Surgery, Allied Health, Outpatients, Anaesthetics, Coronary Care, Emergency Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Intensive Care, Medical Imaging, Mental Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Oncology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacy, and Renal Dialysis, 13 operating theatres, 1 Hybrid theatre, 2 cardiac catheter laboratories and 4 procedure rooms.
As a Cook your responsibilities will include: Food preparationPreparing meals for patients with dietary restrictions, allergens & texture modifiedOrdering of food suppliesSupervise staff in the kitchenDeliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patientsFood Safety knowledgeSelection Criteria: Qualifications as a Chef from a recognised training providerCertificate in Safe Food HandlingGood communication and time management skillsWorks well independently and within a teamTo Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
