Alice Springs, Alice Springs & Central Australia NTManagement (Accounting)Full timeTangentyere Council Aboriginal Corporation (TCAC) is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Alice Springs Town Camps, Urban Alice Springs, and Central Australia.Position OverviewThe Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for managing the financial affairs and the development and implementation of financial strategies, policies, and plans to ensure the continuing financial health of the Tangentyere Group and affiliated entities.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure best practice policy and provide authoritative advice in the areas of financial management.Manage financial operations and report to Boards and Government Bodies.Develop and implement relevant policies and procedures to meet the needs of the organisation.Qualifications and SkillsA thorough knowledge of corporate and government financial systems.Superior management and organisational skills.A current CA or CPA.High-level financial literacy with the ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and manage budgets.Experience in all aspects of organisational Financial Management.Highly developed analytical skills and knowledge of business processes, systems, and products.Previous experience managing financial operations within an Indigenous organisation (highly desirable).Additional InformationIf you are passionate about the successful delivery of an organisation's vision and strategic plan and display a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behaviour, we would like to hear from you.An attractive base salary and excellent benefits package including a fully maintained company vehicle, full PBI salary sacrifice options, and relocation assistance may be negotiated with the successful candidate in line with their skills and experience.Application RequirementsTo be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the above criteria, have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status, and currently hold or be willing to obtain the relevant clearances and checks that are essential for this role.Closing date for applications is Wednesday 8th January 2025.
