Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia.
Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools.
Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.We are currently seeking an experienced Porter Services Manager to join our Concierge team on a Full Time basis.The purpose of this role is to provide professional and helpful transport, delivery and information service to all Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa guests and to supervise and direct the Concierge department (Porter team and Bus Drivers).You will be responsible for:Ensuring service standards of all Concierge staff is professional, helpful and in line with the Resort's vision and goals at all timesEnsuring all vehicles are maintained with daily checks completed to the highest possible standards particularly in cleanlinessEnsure concerns with product and service are communicated with the Front Office Manager and other departmentsThe coordination and supervision of all guest arrivals and departuresIn conjunction with the Front Office Manager provide training, mentoring and recruitment as required of concierge department staffDealing with guest complaints and issues and ensuring a prompt resolutionMonitor and control inventories for assets and operating equipmentWorking a range of shifts, including afternoons and evenings as requiredThe successful applicant must have:Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry is essentialProven customer service experience in a supervisory or management role is requiredThorough knowledge of security, health and safety requirements in a similar industryCertification in Hospitality, Training Small Groups, Management or Supervision and/or Health and Safety Standards is an advantageMeticulous presentation & grooming standardsAbility to work over a seven day rosterA strong desire to be part of a high achieving teamExperience using RMS desirable Flexible work attitudeCurrent WA Drivers License – Manual; MR licence an advantageWhat's on offer:Competitive industry salaryRelocation assistance for the right candidate *Conditions apply Subsidised staff accommodation *Conditions apply Great working conditionsDiscounts for all resort facilitiesCable Beach Club Resort is one of Australia's most highly-awarded resort holiday destinations, offering superb career opportunities in the hospitality industry for staff that are committed to the pursuit of excellence.Please submit your application today or visit our careers site for further information.careersOnly applicants with full Australian work rights should apply.
