Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Your future role:Reporting to the Site Quality Manager - Rollingstock, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the right first time is achieved for our local project, as well as ensuring that the manufacturing and test processes are followed. It will ensure that the Rolling Stock is built to specification and that the manufacturing and test records are produced on time and accurately. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract.A bit about your new role:Manage site IQ activities: Budget, People, Process & PerformanceLead APSYS (Alstom Production System) improvement plan for Industrial Quality requirements (Q09 to Q13 items)Ensure regular Process FMEA, Adapted Control Plan & Quality Control Plan updates to improve Zero Defect objective, especially for Special ProcessesEnsure Digitalization of Controls & Processes using innovationsPerform analysis at site level to improve Industrial Quality PerformanceEscalate the main anomalies detected on the production lines at site level & ensure their effective treatment (Problem Solving tools)Support decision for all Hand Overs (GO / NO GO) & NO GO Veto Right in any caseStop the production if needed for mandatory reasons (e.g. Safety impact needed rework)Lead quality animation methodology deployment, in line with Continuous Improvement systemManage & develop the industrial quality team, using Quality Academy process & yearly training/qualification planAll about you:Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent experienceAbility to read drawings/specifications and familiarity with a variety of test equipmentProcess Knowledge on Quality at Industrial levelProven experience in managing quality tools, Lean Six Sigma, etc.Proven experience in managing teamsKnowledgeable of PFMEA and Control PlansISO9001 Quality Management System experience with Line AuditingYou don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
