The Perth Children's Hospital Foundation (the Foundation) is an iconic West Australian charity with its origins dating back 100 years and is the biggest fundraiser for the Perth Children's Hospital.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Digital Technology and Innovation to join our team on the frontline.

About the role
The Head of Digital Technology and Innovation, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), is a key senior leadership position.
This role is dedicated to enhancing the organisation's digital and data capabilities, empowering the team to leverage technology for significant impact.
It is essential for driving digital transformation and fostering collaborative relationships to ensure reliable and secure IT infrastructure and positioning the organisation as a leader in digital innovation.

The role will undertake a variety of tasks, including:
Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organisation's strategic goals.
Lead and manage digital transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Oversee data analysis functions, ensuring robust data collection, processing, and analysis to drive strategic insights and measure impact.
Collaborate closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective provision of IT infrastructure, high-level support, and cybersecurity.
Manage the development and maintenance of internal digital platforms, focusing on user experience, accessibility, and engagement.
Mentor and manage the technology and data teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Analyse emerging digital trends and technologies to position the organisation as a leader in digital innovation and data-driven decision-making.
About you
You have a tertiary qualification in IT, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, with proven experience in senior digital technology or IT leadership roles.
You excel in developing and delivering digital transformation and data analysis strategies, leading teams through change, and managing IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Your expertise includes data analysis, collaboration with external IT providers, and understanding data protection and privacy regulations in Australia.
You manage budgets effectively and deliver projects on time and within scope.
You are knowledgeable about AI technologies and their applications, staying updated with the latest trends to drive digital initiatives.

You are passionate about using technology and data for social impact, demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
You work well with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions, improve user experience, and support business objectives.
