This encompasses various aspects such as underground and overhead high voltage transmission systems, substations and switchyards, diesel and gas-fired turbines, wind farms, battery storage systems, and mining process plants.
We have established strong partnerships with Australia's leading transmission network providers, suppliers of wind, gas, and diesel generation equipment, as well as prominent mining companies.The Role:RJE Global are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join the project team, specifically a BESS project in regional South Australia, where we require significant bulk earthworks to be completed.Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, collaborating with the project site management team to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
You will be provided excellent training to allow for continual growth and development.Responsibilities:Complete field quality control tests and verificationsAssisting with quality assurance review and development to ensure compliance with company's Quality Management System and accreditationsWitness and review quality checks and documentationReview and compile project quality documentationWork closely with the Senior Project Engineer and project team to efficiently achieve project milestonesReview technical design drawings and documents and provide feedback on constructability and constraintsSupport with the development and implementation project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with client requirements, contractual obligations, and regulatory standardsFoster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and other external stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for future collaborationsRequired:Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience (minimum 1 year) in working on large-scale bulk earthworks and/or road construction projects, preferably within AustraliaConstruction White CardDriver's LicenseStrong knowledge of Australian construction regulations, codes, and industry standardsHave a strong understanding of civil construction quality control requirementsProficiency in engineering software and tools i.e.
AutoCADExcellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively lead and motivate project teamsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and provide practical solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team membersDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlinesWillingness to travel to project sites across Australia as requiredAdvantageous:A postgraduate degree in Construction or Project ManagementUnderstand and administer commercial and contract documentsAustralian Citizen or hold permanent Residency status in AustraliaPrevious experience in the Construction industryAbility to read and interpret drawingsBased in Adelaide is preferableIf you are ready to take the next step in your Engineering career with RJE Global, we encourage you to apply.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
