Your opportunity to join us at our Ingleburn Further Processing site As Quality Assurance Manager based at our Ingleburn Further Processing site, you will oversee a small team and be responsible for leading the site's quality programs to ensure that all food safety, quality and regulatory standards are met during production and dispatch operations.
We are looking for a highly skilled manager from a food processing environment with experience working in a high-risk facility.
Key responsibilities: Lead the site's quality programs to ensure optimal operation and performanceLead the QA Supervisor, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the capability to meet performance goalsIdentify issues and risks through internal and external audits and develop Quality Improvement Plans for the siteInvestigate and respond to customer complaints and non-conformancesCollate and review quality testing results and ensure effective corrective actions and preventative measures are implemented in a timely fashionEnsure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements to ensure sanitary processing conditionsMonitor KPIs for Food Safety, Animal Welfare and QualityPrepare weekly QA reportsPartnering with Operations to ensure compliance and drive improvement programsBuild effective relationships with the Site leadership team and wider QA team and contribute positively to the team environment, fostering open communication and actively seeking feedbackKey requirements: Demonstrated experience leading a quality function in a high-risk, food processing environment (experience in a Ready-to-Eat processing plant will be highly regarded)Experience implementing Quality Assurance programs in a similar food processing environmentAbility to manage audits and effectively deal with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and external customersDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of food production including food safetyAbility to coach and develop others, monitor and measure performance and provide direct feedbackStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and influence senior stakeholders internal and external to the organisationA tertiary degree in Food Science or a related disciplineWe're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us; people who want to contribute their best work every single day and continue delivering deliciously good food that's…Always Good
