About the RoleThis role involves the coordination of field placements for our social work courses and teaching our newly implemented Masters of Social Work course.
You will be pivotal in ensuring students are prepared academically and practically for their work placements.
You will ensure proactive compliance with regulatory framework, enhance student engagement and ensure academic success through effective placements.
Teach the next generation of social workers.Provide leadership and develop current, relevant material for fieldwork placements.Oversee the assessment process to align with learning outcomes, ensuring the quality and compliance of the program with AE standards and regulatory bodies.Engage in professional development to enhance teaching quality and stay current with emerging practices.Deliver engaging placement induction programs and ensure students meet the requirements for successful placement experiences.Incorporating feedback from agencies to enhance the onboarding process.Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures; actively participate in the investigation and resolution of incidents.Report incidents to the Course Coordinator/HOD including potential breach of Code of Conduct/policies, Health & Safety risks.About YouPost-graduate qualification in Social Work, or a related discipline.Eligibility for membership in relevant professional bodies is required.At least three years post-qualification relevant industry experience.Willingness to undertake at least 20 hours of continued professional development each year.High professional and ethical conduct, resilience, and a collaborative approach to both teaching and industry engagement.A strong understanding of theory and practice in the relevant discipline.Why Work with Us:Growth Opportunities: Advance your career within a leading education provider.Professional Development: Benefit from a $1,500 professional development allowance.Supportive Environment: Join a team of dedicated, student-centric professionals.Flexibility: Enjoy the flexibility to work from home during non-teaching hours.Innovative Culture: Be part of a fast-growing, agile organization.About Acknowledge Education:Acknowledge Education is a leading training provider with campuses across Australia, offering a variety of courses in industries such as health, community services, social work, business, civil construction, and hospitality.
