Sales & Marketing Analyst

Main Purpose:The Sales and Market Analyst is primarily accountable for:compiling, analysing, and reporting comprehensive sales data to inform strategic decision-making;monitoring and evaluating competitive activity, customer trends, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights that guide the sales and marketing teams.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:Workplace Health & Safety As a worker:
Take reasonable care and personal responsibility for your own health and safety.Take reasonable care that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other persons.Comply, so far as you are reasonably able, with any reasonable instruction and training that is given.Co-operate with any reasonable policy or procedure relating to health, safety or environment at the workplace that has been notified to you.Immediately report all injuries in the workplace to your supervisor.Report all hazards to your immediate supervisor.Quality Management System Compliance Comply and support the Quality Management system in all aspects of your role.Adopt and implement the principles of continuous improvement in all aspects of your role.Ensure the awareness of customer requirements (internal & external) are promoted throughout the business.Review, monitor and provide feedback on the effectiveness of the quality management system.Engage, support and continuously improve communication processes that support the quality management system and provide positive outcomes for the business, customers and key stakeholders.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Compiling, analysing, and reporting sales dataMonitoring and analysing competitive activity, customer, and market trendsProviding actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teamsForecasting demand, revenue, and expensesDetermining sales potential and making recommendationsPreparing detailed reports on consumer behaviour, competitors' activities, outcomes, and salesMonitoring customer bases and identifying new onesWorking with the marketing team to inform and develop marketing strategiesSKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.Ambition to progress to Sales management levelStrong computer and analytical capabilitiesExperience in preparing and presenting detailed reports on sales, consumer behaviour, and market trends.Proven experience in compiling and analysing sales and market data.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.Ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.Strong ability to analyse complex data sets and extract actionable insights.Self-motivated, confident and capable of engaging at all levelsAbility to identify value enhancing opportunitiesKey Relationships and Department Overview:Internal: Commercial co-workersCredit and FinanceMarketing implementersTerminal/Operations StaffSales SupportHead Office PersonnelExternal: Existing and New CustomersSuppliersBusiness GroupsNetworksMarketing company #J-18808-Ljbffr
