Assist with the preparation of tenders
Liaising with Subcontractors
Would suit someone with minimum of 1 years recent experience working in the Australian Construction Industry
Due to an expanding portfolio of awarded contracts, we have a newly created opportunity for an Assistant Estimator to join our Estimating team, based in our Balcatta Office.
Reporting to the Estimating Lead, you will primarily be responsible for assisting the Estimators by proving material take-offs and liaising with subcontractors and, ensuring subcontractors understand the scope of works and their quotes are accurate, submitted on time and within the conditions of the tender.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe ability to review and comprehend tender documentationCarry out detailed take offsProduce a Bill of Quantities to assist the estimator/subcontractors/suppliers with pricingCompile clear and concise scopes of works and requests for quotationsObtaining and vetting quotations from suppliers and subcontractorsEnsure all relevant documents and addenda are collated in a timely manner and sent out in an efficient mannerOngoing contribution and development of National subcontractor and supplier baseRespond and record tender clarifications with subcontractor and supplier submissions ensuring omissions and dispensations are clearly identified and balanced in evaluation and comparison sheetsABOUT YOUYour ability to be adaptable and proactive will see that you succeed in this role.
You will bring:
