Description & RequirementsReporting to the Financial Controller, the Associate Accountant will be required to assist and support in a wide range of general functions performed by the Pacific Finance Department.
This is a role that requires a highly capable, self-motivated person with the willingness required to acquire the knowledge, experience and skills to progress to higher levels of duties and responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonth End/Quarter End closingBudgeting, forecasting and variance analysisCompliance & internal governanceAP & AR functions, both internal and external stakeholdersAR function backupCompliance requests from internal and external stakeholdersAccreditations and supplier panelsRFP's and related requestsLocal Channel Partners (commissions statements, ad-hoc queries, and invoices)Statistical surveysLocal compliance reportingAdministration of global mobilityLocal statutory auditsDirect and indirect taxOther general duties & ad-hoc projects as assignedBasic Qualifications2 years proven experience in accounting/business administrationStrong administrative skills, detail oriented, confident, self-starter with a positive attitudeAbility to multi-task with a pragmatic work styleEffective time management skillsExcellent written and verbal skills, in person and over the phone and can maintain professionalism and confidentiality with stakeholders.Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervisionAdvanced Microsoft Excel & Word skillsPreferred QualificationsAccounting, business or commerce bachelor's degree with view to progressing to CA/CPA/IPA About InforInfor is a global leader in business cloud software products for companies in industry specific markets.
