About the role We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Boilermaker to join our maintenance team.
You will be joining a close-knit and supportive team where you will be exposed to multiple parts of the business and no two days are the same.
This role is a permanent full-time role - 4 days per week (40 hours, Tuesday to Friday 7am 5.30pm)
Hourly rate - $44.00 - $47.50 per hour - candidates with dual trade or diploma may be eligible for a higher rate
Your responsibilities include: Daily planning of service events (Mechanical, Fabrication) Keeping accurate records of completed work Compliance with quality and safety processes Assisting with breakdown work as required General preventative maintenance Requirements for the role: Trade qualified Boilermaker Industrial experience manufacturing, mining or similar Experience in maintenance and shutdowns is essential Welding experience Knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics desirable Mechanically minded High risk forklift, EWP and confined space tickets highly regarded Key Benefits: Work 4 days per week with EVERY Monday off Superannuation - increase your super with our super matching program up to 14% Uniform, PPE and tools provided Health and wellbeing program including an onsite Gym, Exercise Physiologist, and Osteopath Lifestyle roster allowing work life balance On-site canteen About Us A member of the GFG Alliance group, Liberty Bell Bay is Australia's sole ferroalloy producer, operating four electric arc furnaces and sinter plant to manufacture high-carbon ferromanganese, silicomanganese, and sinter which are essential ingredients in steel making.
