The RoleDavid Jones exists to inspire like no other and as we continue to deliver on our ambitious transformation agenda in line with our Vision 2025+ strategy, we are committed to creating inspired careers so our people can Thrive.The role of the P&C Reporting & Systems Analyst is pivotal in supporting the achievement of the People Strategy by providing regular and ad-hoc People Metric reporting, analytics and insights to enable fact-based decision making and monitoring of progress on key business initiatives.As the P&C Reporting & Systems Analyst you will be a key member of the team ensuring success of key cyclical P&C processes, including the annual Achievement & Growth and Remuneration Review cycle working alongside COEs and business partners.
You will work closely with subject matter experts providing systems administration support for P&C systems including recruitment, learning, and performance.What YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKEDevelop, maintain and improve regular reports & analysis on People Metrics for consumption by the business, Business Partnering Team and other COEs.Prepare data and information for the Quarterly People Report and Financial Year End reporting.Co-ordinate and prepare monthly people reporting - headcount, turnover, leave liability.Co-ordinate and support the completion of key annual, statutory reporting requirements such as WGEA.Provide additional support on projects and initiatives as required by the business or broader people team such as remuneration survey submissions or the annual remuneration review.Conduct regular audits of People data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information and that the data governance process is operating to requirements.Provide analytical support to the People team to support initiatives, projects, performance improvement.Complete ad-hoc reporting requests based on the requirements provided by stakeholders.Co-ordinate the systems aspects of annual cyclical HR activities, partnering with the People Experience and BP teams to manage to the agreed timeline, systems requirements/changes, status reports and updates, moderation/calibration reporting.Ongoing partnership with Talent Acquisition team in updating/evolving system requirements of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS - PageUp).Provide Tier 2 end user support for HR systems, being the escalation point for People Assist.Support the delivery of the annual performance review process and goal setting through the Performance System.Provide Systems and Data support for the team member listening strategy including engagement, on- and offboarding surveys.Engage with system vendors on a regular basis to drive efficiency of usage and systems improvements as required.Understand, support and test data flows for system integrations between P&C owned systems.What YOU'LL NEED TO THRIVEIdeally 2-3 years' experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience in developing report, data analysis and providing insights.HR background highly desirable.PageUp experience highly desirable.Strong analytical and data visualisation skills.Ability to translate business requests into insightful reporting.Attention to detail and strong problem-solving & numeracy skills.Intermediate Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel (query management, macros).Experience in business intelligence products highly regarded.Experience in extracting, manipulating and synthesizing data.Continuous improvement mindset.Strong stakeholder management skills, adept at building relationships with business partners and peers to manage expectations and maintain clear, transparent communication.Why work for us?Unique opportunity to be part of a highly engaged, successful team, focused on the transformation of an iconic Australian brand.A competitive remuneration package including performance-based incentives.Hybrid working arrangements in office and from home that provide appropriate work/life balance.Parental leave policy of 18-weeks paid leave for the primary carer, and 3-weeks paid leave for the supporting partner.Generous employee discounts across David Jones and access to partner benefits.An additional day of leave for your birthday along with time to support charitable work.Opportunities to support community partnerships across our Corporate Social Responsibility program.Be a member of a company committed to sustainable practices, driving change in the retail landscape.Ongoing training and development to pursue individual ambitions.About UsSince 1838, David Jones' limitless quest for innovation and progress established the brand as Australia's original influencer in fashion and lifestyle.
