The Royal Children's Hospital's (RCH) Vision is "A world where all kids thrive".
RCH is a cornerstone member of the Melbourne Children's Campus, partnering with Murdoch Children's Research Institute, The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics and The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation.
RCH has cared for the children and young people of Victoria for more than 150 years since it was founded in 1870.
A full range of paediatrics and adolescent health services are provided plus tertiary and quaternary care for the most critically ill and medically complex patients in Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and other states around Australia and overseas.
The Role:
This is a full time, 12 month fixed term role within the Nutrition and Food Services department.
You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality nutritional care to paediatric patients and their families within the inpatient and outpatient setting.
The grade 1 position is rotational 6 monthly or as per operational requirements therefore provision of nutritional care across specialist areas is a requirement of this position.
What you'll achieve:
Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient care is integrated and effective Provide nutritional care to paediatric patients (inpatients and outpatients) and nutritional support across a variety of specialist/medical units Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including food service and formula room staff, to ensure patient and ward needs are addressed effectively Your skills and experience:
Eligibility for full Membership of Dietitians Australia Eligibility for the Accredited Practising Dietitian Program Minimum postgraduate degree Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent Other requirements:
Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain Valid Working with Children Check Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain Compliance with RCHs "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure Application process:
