To meet the demands of our business, we are seeking Enrolled Nurses to work at our Kingsley facility as casual staff.The role:Our Enrolled nurses are part of a multi-disciplinary team which includes nurses, allied health professionals, hotel services, and site administration employees.
Our team delivers quality care and support that actively promotes choice, independence, and quality of life.The site:Brightwater Kingsley has 41 transition care beds and is a warm and welcoming home providing a place for people to stay temporarily before transitioning back home or finding more suitable accommodation.About you:You will utilise your skills, knowledge, and experience to ensure that all clinical and other care needs are delivered in a safe and respectful manner that promotes the personal values of the client.This includes, but is not limited to hygiene, personal grooming, continence support needs; nutrition, fluid, and medication administration; mobility requirements; wound care and companionship and socialisation.
You will also accept responsibility for specialist clinical portfolios which may include continence, nutrition/weight management, wound care, falls management, behaviours of concern, medication management, pain management, and infection control.To be successful you will possess the following attributes:Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Deliver a strong clinical care service.2 years of aged care experienceHave excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.Demonstrate the ability to lead shifts with an empathetic and mentoring approach.Be able to prioritise their workload safely and efficiently with a focus on our clients.A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months oldFirst Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old)A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening checkEvidence of up-to-date flu vaccinationsIf this sounds like the right role for you, Brightwater offers:The ability to salary package up to $18,550 annually, meaning you can legitimately pay less tax and increase your take-home.Career development and professional development opportunities, as well as 5 days of professional development leave each yearOur unique staff benefits program, including access to BrightwaterPlus which gives you discounts with over 370 retailersPrivate Health benefits and discountsAbout BrightwaterBrightwater has over 100 years of care experience.
