The positions will be based on site in the Pilbara on 2/1 rosters.To be considered for the positions as a Senior HSE Advisor you will possess the following:Minimum 3 years' experience in an operational and/or construction environment as a Senior Health and Safety professionalMinimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health & SafetyiCam Lead Investigator trainedCurrent First Aid CertificateExperience in project start upsExperience in leading significant incident investigationsConfidence to present information to others and engage in positive field leadership interactionsBe a clear communicator with the ability to lead and coach safe behaviours, risk assessments, workplace interactions and incident investigation processesHave strong computer skills including the use of MS Office Suite and incident management systemsPrevious experience in a FIFO site-based roleWhite Card and Drivers LicenceReporting to the Project Manager, you will maintain NRW's strong safety culture and be responsible for; but not limited to:Assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of the OH&S management system ensuring health and safety targets and goals are achievedLead the project start up process and drive completion of crucial project deliverablesLead the safety teams who oversee construction and project activitiesDrive project excellence in safety management practices through proactive engagement and field leadership supportLead the critical risk management process to ensure all risks are identified and effectively controlledEnsure compliance with client and company health and safety requirements including reportingOversee and lead as required incident investigations which drive continuous improvement and lessons learntChampion health and safety attending various meetings as requiredFacilitate and complete risk assessment reviewsProvide advice and recommendations to project leadership team on health and safety issues affecting performanceConduct effective inspections and audits of the workplace focusing on HSE compliance and supporting conformanceAssist in the roll out of corporate and site-based health and safety initiativesMaintain data in the incident reporting system and produce reports in line with project and corporate requirementsAbout the Opportunities:"A Safe Day.
