Key Points: Deliver care across various hospital services and work within multi-disciplinary teamsExpand into Clinical Pharmacy with on-the-job trainingFantastic Future Growth OpportunitiesThe opportunity: We are looking for a part-time pharmacist to join our Slade Pharmacy team based onsite at Brunswick Private Hospital, a comprehensive rehabilitation, general medicine, and mental health facility.
Here at Slade Pharmacy Brunswick, you will provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatients, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the quality use of medicines.

You will have the opportunity to upskill by gaining knowledge and opportunities in specialised areas such as clinical pharmacy, rehabilitation and mental health.
The hours: The roster for this part-time position is as follows:Friday - 11:00am to 5:30pmSaturday - 9:00am to 12:00pm
In this role, you'll: Expand your role into clinical care and provide clinical pharmacy services including conducting medication history interviews, medication reconciliation and discharge summaries at transfers of careBe efficient and effective at dispensing and distribution of medicationsProvide medication counselling & education to patientsWork cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide advice in regard to patient careMonitor the accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy techniciansDevelop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patientsContribute to training and educational sessions for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff and allied health professionalsAssist to oversee imprest services and continuity of medication supplyAbout Us: Slade Pharmacy is part of the Icon Group, Australia's largest provider of integrated cancer care services.
