About the companyOur client is an Australian owned, well-respected heritage mid-size player in the grocery space, known for their commitment to quality and innovation across their portfolio of much-loved brands found in homes across the country.
The business is undergoing an exciting period of change and evolution, with CAPEX investment as well as the creation of new roles and transformation of team structures to support ongoing growth.
As a result, there is an opportunity to join their team in a newly created Senior Brand Manager role.
About the roleReporting to the Marketing Manager, the Senior Brand Manager has the opportunity to drive a $100M premium, market-leading brand across the ANZ with healthy market share and penetration within both markets and growing ahead of the category at 14% YOY.
This role is truly 360 in nature and will see you leading innovation to expand the brand into new segments, occasions, and adjacent categories as well as take the reins in driving the next evolution of the brand communications platform following a recent brand repositioning (which is performing well in market, with the business looking to double A+P investment into the brand once strong plans are in place) to focus on recruiting and reengaging consumers into the brand.
This role will best suit a candidate with
Prior experience at a Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager level within the FMCG space, ideally with brand repositioning and brand development experience.Strong brand building and communications management experience, leveraging non-traditional channels such as social, shopper, and digital.Ability to be both strategic and hands-on in your role, driving from ideation to execution.Disruptive thinkers who are keen to challenge the status quo and do things differently.Excellent stakeholder engagement, relationship building, communication, and influence skills.CultureThe business prides itself on its nimble and entrepreneurial environment which promotes doing things differently, as well as their people-first culture, offering flexibility, development, and career progression which brings a genuine sense of belonging and satisfaction and long tenure within the business.This role will best suit a passionate, creative, and consumer-led marketer, keen to step into an environment where they can have true ownership of their brand and strategy within a locally led organisation.You will pride yourself on your people skills, ability to build relationships and influence at all levels, and drive projects cross-functionally throughout the business from end to end as well as your adaptability to operate effectively within a dynamic and changing environment.
