As a Registered Nurse in Special Care Nursery your responsibilities will be to: To provide quality nursing care by Assessing, Planning, Implementing and evaluating individual patient and new born care.
To provide a standard of care according to the individual's level of experience and education maintaining high quality nursing care within a safe environment.
To develop and utilise strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication.
To work in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding provision of care promoting beneficial relationships.
When required, working on other wards in the Hospital.
What you'll need to succeed Essential Criteria: Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA Minimum of 3 years Neonatal nursing level 2 nursery experience Demonstrated ability to work independently and unsupervised in the Special Care Nursery Working with Children check (if relevant) Commitment to Quality Patient Care Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Works well independently and within a team Intermediate computer skills Desirable Criteria: Post graduate qualifications in Neonatal nursing Applications close : 3rd January 2025 To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.

Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check (no more than 3 months old) and a current working with children check prior to appointment and persons in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
Remuneration If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020- 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.59 per hour.
