Job Description About the team The Membership Proposition team leads the Membership Proposition strategy.
With the vision to create a seamless transition from strategy to operational execution and excellence, the team drives the management, design, continual improvement, execution and maturity across the business.
About the role As the Market Intelligence Manager, the key focus will be leveraging your expertise in data and insight storytelling to inform decision making and enhance the AICD's membership product offering and experience, ensuring they remain competitive and responsive to market changes.
You will conduct in-depth analysis of the market landscape, synthesising complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
An essential component of this role is strong engagement and influencing capabilities as cultivating effective stakeholder relationships and taking them on the journey will enable achieving strategic objectives.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly collaborative and experienced professional with a strong background in research, data interpretation and forecasting.
Your Remit Will Include: Understanding the current and emerging market trends to inform the membership product offering and experience.
Proactive analysis of external data, internal member and business data for opportunities of growth.
Convey insights and metrics in a compelling manner that fosters buy-in and enhances understanding.
Evaluate the commercial viability of membership products, services and experiences.
Challenge the business ideas when needed, providing alternative recommendations.
Inform the Annual Membership product review, suggesting priorities and actions.
Assess, research and identify new business development opportunities to increase revenue and impact as well as diversify AICD's products, experiences and services.
Cultivate strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and insight owners to support and understand business drivers and topics.
Produce and present detailed reporting and forecasting to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
Develop best practice metrics for Membership product management and scorecards.
Desired Skills and Experience About you You will have strong technical aptitude and previous relevant experience, and you will champion the AICD values of: Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Collaboration.
In addition, you will also have the following:
Bachelor's Degree in research/data analytics/business analytics/marketing or similar.
Demonstrated experience creating forward thinking solutions and initiatives in a market insights environment.
Expertise with data analytics tools (PowerBI, Q, SPSS, and Microsoft Excel).
Exceptional analysis, research, evaluation and reporting capabilities.
Well-developed ability to communicate, engage and influence leadership, a range of stakeholders and multi-disciplinary digital teams.
Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent presentation and facilitation capabilities.
Strong project management experience with time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise.
Proficiency in SQL.
Python programming skills and a working knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub are highly valued.
