The Position
Uniting AgeWell (UA), a leading provider of aged care services across Victoria and Tasmania, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to assume the role of Executive Director People and Culture (EDPC&C).
Reporting directly to the CEO, the EDP&C will be accountable for leading the people, culture and capability agenda for UA to ensure UA people are supported and developed to deliver best practice person-centred services and achieve the UA mission and strategic direction.
Reporting to the CEO, and a member of the Executive Team, the EDP&C will develop and implement contemporary people strategies to ensure an appropriate skills mix to enable the effective delivery of services.
Additionally, the position will foster and sustain a client-focused culture, ensure the provision of safe workplaces, systems and processes, and support a positive employee experience for a diverse workforce.
The position of Executive Director People and Culture demands a seasoned executive who can confidently contribute in a Boardroom setting.
While an understanding of a healthcare environment is preferred, it is not essential.
The ideal candidate will be a capable and strategic leader, adept at navigating complex organisational structures and driving transformation at a senior level.
Key areas of focus will include performance management, industrial relations, and payroll; as such, the successful appointee will bring robust experience in people and culture, a solid track record in industrial relations, and expertise in reinvigorating L&D processes.
