We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workplace Relations Consultant to be at the forefront of ensuring McDonald's maintains robust people compliance performance and adheres to best practice principles in managing employee relations within our restaurants.
Your mission?
To diagnose opportunities, implement solutions, and ensure our teams operate in a supportive, compliant, and productive environment.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis? Conducting thorough investigations and managing complex employee relations mattersDeveloping and updating educational resources on ER/compliance for our restaurantsMonitoring background checks and mitigating risks to our brand and peopleAssisting in managing external/legal/regulatory claimsCoaching line managers on compliance matters and employee relationsDelivering training on compliance, investigations, and people performanceAnalysing data to produce insightful reports and recommend improvement initiativesCollaborating with various departments to optimise legal and compliance practicesFostering a high-performance culture by developing team members and providing feedbackYour keys to success:A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Law, or similar fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar roleStrong understanding of Australian employment law and modern awardsProven ability to solve complex problems with autonomy and initiativePassion for delivering exceptional customer service and tailoring solutions to business needsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with polished presentation abilitiesExceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple complex mattersTeam player with a positive attitude and strong ethical standardsPrevious experience in a McDonald's restaurant or other QSR will be highly regardedRelish in the Macca's difference when you join the Golden Arches:Competitive Remuneration Package.
