Overview The Loadout Supervisor oversees the daily operations of cement loadout activities, ensuring safe, efficient, timely and accurate loading of cement products for dispatch at the Pennsuco Cement plant at highest customer satisfaction.
This role is responsible to ensure loadout operations are the best in class, highest customer satisfaction by managing a team, coordinating with the production, maintenance, and logistics departments, and maintaining compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.

Responsibilities Supervision and Team Management:
Lead, train, and supervise a team of loadout Weighmasters and Utility personnel.
Schedule and assign work shifts, always ensuring adequate coverage for loadout operations.
Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations.
Safety, Environment and Compliance:
Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees as outlined by MSHA and TA .
Conduct regular safety and environmental audits and inspections of loadout areas and equipment and ensure corrective actions are implemented timely.
Address any safety concerns or incidents promptly, maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Ensure dust-free operation, an orderly facility and best visual appearance of the site.
Customers Satisfaction and Interactions
Communicate with customers, drivers, and logistic personnel to coordinate loadout activities, and resolve issues.
Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Interact with designated leadership team to provide information and updates on the operations of the loadout department.
Loadout Operations:
Oversee the efficient and accurate loading of cement into trucks and railcars.
Ensure proper handling and management of cement products to maintain quality and prevent contamination.
Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Equipment Maintenance:
Monitor and report maintenance problems with loadout equipment, such as loading spouts, and weighing systems, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
Coordinate with the maintenance team for scheduled repairs and preventive maintenance.

Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of cement products and coordinate with the production team to ensure adequate supply for loadout operations.
Maintain accurate records of loaded quantities and track product movement.

Quality Control:
Ensure that all loadout activities adhere to quality standards, minimizing product waste or contamination.
Address any issues related to product quality, weight discrepancies, or customer complaints.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Commitment to safety and compliance standards.
Associate degree or equivalent; a degree in logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience in loadout, logistics, or a supervisory role within the cement or similar manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and product handling a plus.
Familiarity with loadout equipment, conveyors, and weighing systems.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in using inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
Willingness to work in a dusty and noisy environment, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
