Established in 1992, we're committed to securing quality health care services across the East Arnhem and enabling Yol?u powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents across 3 East Arnhem wards.The ideal candidate must have an understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination; an understanding of the issues faced by Yolngu people living in remote settings; knowledge and experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services; demonstrated ability to provide effective high-level leadership, management, and organisational skills including comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills; and a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse/Health Professional/Practice Manager in a similar role with a similar community population demographic and service profile.Vaccination & Immunity ScreeningMiwatj Health is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all workers and users of its healthcare centres.
