Senior / Principal Electrical & Instrument Designer (Darwin, Nt)

We are currently recruiting a Senior / Principal Instrument & Electrical Designer in a permanent or contract capacity to join our client's team in Darwin, NT as part of its Operations APAC West business.
Our Global Oil & Gas EPC client delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers, actively supporting operations in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Reporting directly to the I&E Design Manager and working as part of our client's core design team, you will act as the I&E Designer on brownfields oil & gas projects while taking responsibility for the design.
Join our client in the newly opened Darwin CBD office. In addition, you will have access to remote and flexible working options, purchased annual leave and employee discount programs.
Your responsibilities will also include:Readily take ownership of discipline design commitments and requirements on a projectEnsure deliverables are consistently checked, accurate and presentableProvide day-to-day services to the projectIn addition, you will have:Relevant Certificate or suitably qualified by industry experienceExperience in E3D and/or Navisworks Simulator is advantageousAn ability to interpret and translate engineering concepts into practical designsProfessional demeanour and interpersonal skillsAn ability to both lead and work collaboratively in a team environmentOpen to spending time away from office location as and when operation requiresExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Excellent analytical and numerical skillsA solutions mindset and able to manage varying tasks with often changing and competing prioritiesYou must be an Australian citizen or currently hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia without company sponsorship. You must also be willing to relocate to Darwin, NT or already reside there for this opportunity.
