Dean: Academic Leader of New Higher Ed InstitutionEureka Higher Education is an institution in the development stages and is looking for an aspiring Dean.
We have been in the education industry for 13 years and are seeking a retired Professor or an Emeritus Professor with strong knowledge of the regulatory and legislative requirements of the Higher Education sector to advance our market offering.
Skills / Attributes: Leadership capabilities, including the ability to initiate and lead change and foster cross-campus collaboration with VET and other institutions of Higher Education.Knowledge of the regulatory and legislative requirements of the Higher Education sector.Strong administration and IT skills.Knowledge of TEQSA standards (support with consultants when needed).Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with expertise in strategic planning, policy implementation, and quality assurance within a team-based environment.Industry experience and engagement with professions and professional associations.Ensures academic division operations comply with all internal and external accreditation, quality, financial, registration, and regulatory requirements.Responsible for the management of human, physical, and financial resources within the budget envelope provided.Relevant Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior Higher Education leadership role.Demonstrated experience in academic operational management duties in an Australian tertiary setting.Significant senior leadership experience in academic governance and quality assurance at the Dean's level and as chair of committees.Industry experience and engagement with professions and professional associations.Salary: $160 – 180k AUD/year
