Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology) Slipstream ( is a leading provider of software solutions for the Transport & Logistics Industry here in Australia.
Our proprietary Transport Management System (TMS) allows companies to digitally manage, automate & optimise their operations, allowing them to increase their focus on customer service and revenue driving activities.
We have recently entered a period of high growth & are looking to grow our technical team to support the ongoing development of the industry leading platform.
About the job We are looking for a Senior Developer (with a strong back-end focus) for an immediate start to contribute to the ongoing development of new features and functions of the platform.
The role would ideally suit someone who is interested in the ground transport & logistics industry or has previous ERP platform expertise.
This role is suitable if you already have a strong programming background, and are willing to step up and start taking responsibility for the system as a whole.
This includes being an active participant in meetings, where you will demonstrate your experience by speaking up and suggesting ideas based on best practices.
You will work directly with the CTO and senior developers, whose responsibilities include managing code rollouts, patching critical bug fixes, monitoring the health of the system, assisting the company's directors with designing new features, and reviewing work done by other developers.
You will be trained to take responsibility for these, and be expected to step in when the lead developer is not available.

Your Experience A minimum 7 years of programming experience Strong programming capability in PHP Laravel Frameworks - Strong experience & In-depth understanding of relevant concepts Vue.js, Bootstrap, JQuery experience MySQL - Strong database skills and schema design including vertical and horizontal scaling and optimised queries.
Bitbucket - Experience with version control systems AWS - Detailed knowledge and experience with their services Additional skills; Python, Linux Strong troubleshooting skills and engineering culture Benefits of working with us Central Circular Quay Location (Easy Access to transport) or work fully remotely if you have the skill set, but are not based in Sydney .
