Keeping the focus on helping your clients to achieve their therapy goals.Over 100 hrs of rostered annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours per year which includes monthly in-house training, daily team collaboration time, national and state clinical meetings, paid professional development leave, and your own professional development allowance.Up to 12 weeks of annual leave per year with our additional purchased leave program.Reduced prices and benefits from groceries to movie tickets.Generous paid parental leave.PLUS, we have friendly and well-organised administration teams booking appointments, invoicing, and managing NDIS changes - leaving you to get on with what is most important to you – supporting children and their familiesYour role as a Speech Pathology GradHelp children achieve their development milestones such as communicating their wants and needs to help them participate in everyday activities (such as playing with their friends and family).Educate and involve parents, carers, and others around the child to support the communication and language development of the child.Support children to speak with clear and correct pronunciation so that others can understand them.Treat stuttering and articulation disorders to speak fluently and confidently.Address literacy, reading, and writing difficulties, in conjunction with teachers and schools.Teach children the skills to manage a wide range of food and drinks safely.About our GradsWe are looking for Grads who share our passion for making a difference and making therapy a fun, engaging, and meaningful experience for families.
You are enthusiastic and thrive in an environment that welcomes the fresh ideas you can bring to the wider team.You will also have:A degree in Speech Pathology (or currently completing).Eligibility for SPA registration upon graduating.Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating by early 2025.A full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle with third-party insurance.A valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain.A current Police Check, or be willing to obtain.NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain.First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain.Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail.More about Early Start AustraliaEarly Start Australia is a national multidisciplinary Allied Health organisation working towards a brighter future for all Australians.
