Asset Security Concepts Pty Limited (ASC) is an established and experienced electronic security provider that offers a comprehensive range of security alarms, CCTV and access control solutions with complete design, installation and maintenance services for the retail, corporate and commercial sectors.
With significant growth across the country ASC is expanding our team of installation and service technicians based in our Rydalmere office.
About the roles
We have a variety of roles for technicians of different skill levels available reporting to our NSW Technical Manager.
Whether you're a technician with many years of experience or someone less experienced with the capacity and willingness to learn we may have the opportunity you're looking for.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

Developing in-depth knowledge of ASC's technology and solutions suite;
Understanding and following plans and instructions for security equipment and systems;
Installing, repairing, testing and maintaining security equipment and systems;
Programming (hardware and firmware), configuration and commissioning of electronic security
equipment and systems;
Connection and integration of security systems with managed services;
Performance test electronic security systems, including alarm, access control, and CCTV;
Ensuring health and safety requirements are followed.
What we are looking for
To be considered for the role of Security Technician you will be able to demonstrate:

Experience with installation and maintenance of alarm, access control and CCTV systems, preferably in the retail and commercial sectors;
Ability to perform cabling, fit off (including panels) and commissioning of electronic security systems;
Quality trade skills;
Current NSW Security Licence;
Current drivers' licence;
Current or ability to obtain a cabling licence;
Construction General Induction (white card);
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness;
Experience with Inner Range, Tecom, Milestone, Hanwha, Axis, i-Pro, and the like is considered highly beneficial.
