Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a passionate Data Centre Technician to join our highly skilled Sydney facilities team.
The purpose of this role is to support the Facility Manager with the day-to-day operations of the data centre by providing high quality and efficient technical maintenance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities include: Assist with customer equipment installationsMaintain in-depth knowledge of the Facility Rules and ensure adherence at all timesDeliver cabling needs, electrical and data, to customer racks and areasAttend to Remote Hands RequestsAssist with the maintenance of all core electrical and mechanical systemsEnsure that facility problems are identified and resolved in a timely mannerQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will have:
Hands-on experience with fibre optic cablingA Grade Electrical LicenseExcellent customer service and communication skills, and most importantly, a can-do attitudeBasic knowledge of data centres (desirable)TAFE Certificate in TelecommunicationsCandidates MUST be Australian Citizens in order to obtain security clearances required.
