Job Details:Location: Perth SpecsaversFull Time only - 37.5hrsWeekend working - can be flexibleStore Information:Large store over 2 floors with 8 test roomsGreat Team of about 50 Team membersSalary - up to £32,000 DOEBonus Scheme in placeExtra day off for BirthdayMedical and Dental coverProgression supportedDiscounted hearing and eyecare benefitsShopping discountsEnhanced sick payEnhanced pay for family leaveWeCare and Headspace employee support serviceExperience level: Must have a minimum of two years store management and optics experience
Main Duties:Manage the overall performance of the team to achieve financial targets considering the retail calendar year.Drive the store key performance indicators (KPIs)Manage Health and Safety effectively and ensure the store remains compliant.Ensure your own and your teams' personal development is actively undertaken and in line with the business objectives.Provide assistance and supervision in the Lab, in the absence of the Lab Manager & Assistant Manager.Mentor and coach subordinates in all aspects of daily store operations, making referrals to managers to highlight high performance and underperformance amongst all diagnostic staff.Deliver complex dispensing and advanced problem solving.Dispense complex prescriptions, including the ability to demonstrate how to calculate edge thickness for a variety of frames and lenses, including plus and minus prescriptions and oblique cyls and lenticular lenses.What we're looking for:Great communicatorExperience in managing teamsEye for detailBe flexible and adaptablePassionate people personOrganisedHard workerExperience working in optics businessIf you have everything we're looking for and are excited by this opportunity, we're excited to hear from you.
