Staffing Officer
Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of Permanency Closes: 13 November 2024 Details: Melrose High School is actively seeking a highly experienced, energetic, organised, and self-motivated individual to take on the role of Staffing Officer.
This pivotal position is essential for supporting the school's administrative functions and ensuring smooth operations.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the School Executive team to undertake a variety of administrative duties.
These responsibilities will include managing staffing needs, coordinating schedules, and facilitating communication among various stakeholders within the school community.
Ideal applicants will possess exceptional organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
They must demonstrate the ability to work independently while navigating a dynamic work environment filled with competing demands.
Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping is crucial, as the Staffing Officer will be responsible for accurately entering data, generating reports, and providing comprehensive administrative support to staff.
Moreover, the candidate should exhibit high-level interpersonal skills, enabling effective and supportive interactions with students, families, and staff alike.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Certificate III or equivalent e.g.
Business Administration (Education), Education Support, Government (School Support Services) Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of Sentral, Timetabling Solutions and Microsoft Office packages.
Experience in a high school environment.
