About headspace headspace is a busy and innovative youth mental health service providing a variety of mental health, medical, sexual and other health-related services as well as vocational, functional groups and social services to young people aged 12 to 25 years and their families.
About the Position The Clinical Educator holds responsibility for implementation, leadership, clinical supervision, education and mentoring of staff across Anglicare NT's headspace services to ensure best practice principles are met.
Your advanced cognitive, technical, and communication skills will be crucial in analysing and improving learning and teaching practices.
You'll convey knowledge and solutions, manage projects, and develop sustainable training and supervision structures for our workforce.
What In this role, you will: Specialise in clinical mental health interventions and education. Lead implementation, clinical supervision, and staff mentoring. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Influence decision-making and manage change effectively. Develop and sustain relationships with Universities and Training Providers. What we are looking for: Approved tertiary qualification (Allied Health) and 5 years' experience in a mental health-related discipline and registration with the relevant regulatory body such as AHPRA or membership of and adherence to professional standards, for example AASW for social workers. Significant project management capabilities and the aptitude to lead reforms, contemporary practices, and change management. Ability to research, analyse information and produce quality reports/proposals and track deliverables if required. Experience in planning, facilitation, and training, with the ability to lead planning sessions, conduct in-services and workshop training and reflective practice sessions. A passion for youth mental health, in particular working with young Aboriginal people and their families, and keen interest in improving service, access, and cultural safety of primary youth services.
